On the occasion of the exhibition Frank Walter: To Capture a Soul, join us for a workshop to discover the intricate beauty of seedwork from tamarind and jumbie seeds and empowerment doll-making, intangible cultural heritage crafts unique to the twin-island Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda.
This unique workshop offers an opportunity to create your own exquisite pieces while exploring the rich heritage of artisan narratives. Learn alongside the talented facilitators from Botanique, a female-owned collective from Antigua and Barbuda, and discover the artwork of the renowned Antiguan artist Frank Walter (1926-2009).
You have the option to choose either the seedwork kit or doll-making kit for this workshop. Each kit provides all the necessary art materials, supplies and step-by-step instructions, plus the guidance and assistance from the Botanique facilitators.
